Qu Ya

Ya Qu graduated from Peking University with a master's degree in atmospheric physics and atmospheric environment, and is a senior engineer. She has been the Secretary-General of the China Meteorological Service Association since 2015 and is one of the founders of the China Meteorological Service Association. She is also a director of the China Association for Disaster Prevention, a member of the China Meteorological Application Service Standards Committee, and a member of the expert group of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) Regional Association II from 2010 to 2013. She is mainly engaged in the management of public-private partnerships in the field of meteorological services in China. She has led project collaborations and research in high-impact meteorological areas such as wind and solar energy, transportation, environment, finance, and health. At the same time, she is also doing scientific research in the fields of meteorological benefit assessment and credit and ability evaluation of meteorological enterprises.
