Brama Kone

University Peleforo Gon Coulibaly

Brama Kone is an Associate Professor, Lecturer-Researcher of Public Health at the University Peleforo Gon Coulibaly of Korhogo, Côte d’Ivoire and an associate Researcher and Project Leader at the Centre Suisse de Recherches Scientifiques in Côte d’Ivoire. His research interests include Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WaSH) and associated health risks, as well as climate change adaptation. He focuses on integrated approaches, including Health Risk Assessment and Ecohealth approaches. Prof Kone holds a master’s degree in Water Sciences and Technologies, a degree in Sanitary Engineering, a University Diploma in Epidemiology, and a PhD in Environmental Epidemiology. He is an active member of the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology (ISEE, https://www.iseepi.org/), Co-Chair for Africa Chapter and, Deputy Director in charge of Research Programs at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Côte d’Ivoire.
