
Jason Cohen

Dr. Jason Blake Cohen (Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology) is a professor at China University of Mining and Technology. His research focuses on quantifying emissions of short-term climate forcers and air pollutants (methane and BC) using remotely sensed and ground-based measurements and atmospheric models. As the first or corresponding author, he has published over 60 papers in top international journals. He is the recipient of the Jiangsu Friendship Award, and Jiangsu May-Day Award. Past and present service includes being a Founding Director of the International Atmospheric Environment Remote Sensing Society, a long-term convener for the Asia Oceania Geosciences Society, and support to the China National Committee for Future Earth.
