Daniel Ospina

Science Officer

Daniel Ospina works in the Earth Commission, in the Secretariat contributing with general coordination activities, as well as scientific support for Work Group 5, on the task of synthesizing the methodological approaches and challenges for cross-scale translation of planetary ‘safe and just guardrails’ into actionable targets for cities and companies. Starting at the end of 2021, he will take over the coordination of the 10 New Insights in Climate Science series (a Future Earth collaboration with the Earth League and the World Climate Research Program). Daniel holds a BSc in Ecology from Universidad Javeriana (Colombia) and a MSc in Ecosystems, Resilience and Governance from Stockholm University.
